![]() ![]() With the standard receiving process, we must either live with receiving in a timely manner and manually adjust our Vendor Bill information to conform to real life or, we have Vendor Bills in QuickBooks that match the actual vendor bill and potentially throw our financial information for inventory and COGS way out of balance.Įnhanced Receiving in QuickBooks Enterprise But that's a subject for another article. QuickBooks now adjusts that sale transaction to reflect the fact that 20 widgets were sold from zero quantity on hand. In other words, we just sold negative 20 widgets. The consequence of selling negative severely impact the value of our inventory asset account and the value of our cost of goods sold. What about our sale of 20 widgets on Feb. 12? While the example above all occurs within the same "accounting period," you can imagine what happens if the date change between the receiving and the vendor bill crosses an accounting period, such as a month-end or even a year-end.īut that’s not the only impact. Our QuickBooks accounting, including the inventory count, as well as the A/P liability and the inventory value on-hand, change from 30 being posted into inventory on Feb. 10, to 30 being posted on Feb. 20.Īs far as QuickBooks is concerned, we had no widgets in stock until Feb. 20. QuickBooks responds to the change in the transaction date. So the actual due date of the Bill does not match up based upon the 30-day terms. Now the Accounts Payable clerk changes the Bill Date to match the Vendor’s Billing Date of Feb. 20, so that the terms and Due Date match. The problem is the document is dated as of the receiving date on Feb. 10. She now selects the Item receipt, which now "checks the little box" and the Item Receipt becomes the Vendor Bill. When she starts to enter the Vendor Bill, QuickBooks shows there is an Item Receipt open for which the Bill has not been posted. The Vendor’s Bill is dated Feb. 22 and has terms of Net 30, so the bill is due by March 24. ![]() On Feb. 25, the Accounts Payable clerk receives the Vendor Bill for the 30 widgets I ordered on Jan. 20, and received on Feb. 10. ![]() I now, as of Feb. 10, have 30 widgets in stock and available for sale. On Feb. 12, a customer calls and asks me to ship 20 widgets to them overnight, so I pull 20 widgets off the shelf and enter an Invoice to the customer for those 20 widgets dated Feb. 12.Īt the end of the day, on Feb. 12, I now have only 10 widgets in stock and available. On Feb. 10, the 30 widgets arrive. I receive them into QuickBooks using an Item Receipt as of the same date. My Item Receipt matches my purchase order in terms of price and quantity. I order 30 widgets (an inventory type item) on a Purchase Order on Jan. 20, 2017. The expected arrival date is Feb. 10. Purchase Order -> Item Receipt -> Vendor Billīut look at the the upper right side of both the Enter Vendor Bill window and the Create Item Receipts window for the small checkbox marked "Bill Received." In this article, we shall look at the anatomy of the lymphatic drainage of the head and neck - the lymph vessels, nodes and their clinical relevance. The lymphatic system is a network of vessels and nodes which acts to drain lymphatic fluid from the tissues and return it to the circulation. The posterior lateral nodes lie close to the external jugular vein and collect lymph from superficial surfaces of the neck. The anterior nodes lie close to the anterior jugular vein and collect lymph from the superficial surfaces of the anterior neck. Superficial Cervical: The superficial cervical lymph nodes can be divided into the superficial anterior cervical nodes and the posterior lateral superficial cervical lymph nodes. They collect lymph from the mucous membranes of the nose and cheek, eyelids and conjunctiva. Facial: This group comprises the maxillary/infraorbital, buccinator and supramandibular lymph nodes. They also receive lymph from the submental and facial lymph nodes. They are located below the mandible in the submandibular triangle and collect lymph from the cheeks, the lateral aspects of the nose, upper lip, lateral parts of the lower lip, gums and the anterior tongue. Submandibular: There are usually between 3-6 submandibular nodes. They collect lymph from the central lower lip, the floor of the mouth and the apex of the tongue. Submental: These lymph nodes are located superficially to the mylohoid muscle. There are also parotid lymph nodes deep to the parotid gland that drain the nasal cavities and the nasopharynx. They collect lymph from the nose, the nasal cavity, the external acoustic meatus, the tympanic cavity and the lateral borders of the orbit. Parotid: The parotid lymph nodes are a small group of nodes located superficially to the parotid gland. They are located anterior to the auricle of the ear, and collect lymph from the superficial areas of the face and temporal region. Pre-auricular: There are usually between 1-3 pre-auricular lymph nodes. They collect lymph from the posterior neck, upper ear and the back of the external auditory meatus (the ear canal). They are located posterior to the ear and lie on the insertion of the sternocleidomastoid muscle into the mastoid process. Mastoid: There are usually 2 mastoid lymph nodes, which are also called the post-auricular lymph nodes. They are located in the back of the head at the lateral border of the trapezius muscle and collect lymph from the occipital area of the scalp. Occipital: There are usually between 1-3 occipital lymph nodes. They ultimately drain into the deep lymph nodes. How To Dress Like Euphoria CharactersĮach of the characters really do have their own style while still fitting into the show’s main themes. We’re going to dive into some of the bigger style inspirations of the show, Maddy, Cassie, and Jules and see how we can implement their style into our own. The style reflects what’s going on in each of the character’s lives so there’s been some major character studies happening regarding the different outfits for each of the characters. It was eye-catching and stunning, and it was simply just so different from all of the other popular TV shows and styles that were circulating at the time. Their makeup really is what ended up making a huge difference when it came to their outfits and individual styles. Wearing club and party outfits every hour of the day really had us all wanting to stunt and dress up for school and work in a different way. These high school characters in the show acted and dressed nothing like high schoolers in real life do, as with most TV shows, but this one takes the cake. Like we’ve mentioned, it’s been an interesting mix of the early 2000’s clubbing and party styles that had already been on the rise when Euphoria was released but with the 2020’s spin on it.Ĭutouts and sheer party dresses are nothing new, but it made them a little more common than just at the clubs when Euphoria came around. But, this is not an easy task, and will take some time. With that said, this also means our journey to integrate better with Steam has just begun, and there already has been talk about how to integrate more. In the last few years, changes to the tools and processes needed to be implemented, and adding Steam to our supported platforms became a realistic goal. The main obstacle to this had been the tools and processes that OpenTTD had previously set up, and lack of time and capability by contributors to make the necessary changes. Distribution via Steam has been one of the more sought-after requests from our players. The primary motivation for adding OpenTTD to Steam was to make the game more widely available through popular platforms.
