By default though, we do not alter your imported trip. You can use the Path Adjustments to automatically remove stops at preset distances. If the selected file is a trace of a trip you have taken, the imported route may have too many points to be practically usable. After entering in this information, click Import and the file will be processed. Once selected, a dialog box will open and ask you for the file type, which file, and if you have a trip open, whether you would like to import the file into the current trip or as a new trip. To import files, simply click the Import button on the first page or select File in the top-left corner of the map and select Import Route.
